Time - a timeless series of luminaires
For more than 20 years, Time has been one of ateljé Lyktan’s most versatile luminaire families, developed to meet today’s demands for flexibility, visual comfort and technical precision.
Time builds on Bengt Källgren’s original idea of good function in a simple and self evident form. With more options, greater modularity and a clearer system approach, the range becomes easier to adapt to different spaces, needs and project conditions.
A refined classic, created to deliver the right light in the right place. With strong performance, considered details and a design language made to last.
Material
Materials with purpose
Time is developed with circularity and long term sustainability in mind. The housing is manufactured from extruded aluminium containing 75% post consumer recycled material, with 100% post consumer aluminium available for larger projects.
Visual Comfort
Light with Greater Precision
Refined optical engineering provides enhanced control over light and how it is perceived within a space. Smooth luminance transitions, reduced glare and the absence of multiple shadows create a more comfortable working environment with outstanding visual quality.
Visual Comfort
Tailored Comfort
Seven optics with different levels of glare control make it possible to tailor the light to the needs of the space, with efficiency up to 150 lm/W and options for very high visual comfort.
Details that make a difference
A clean expression
All single luminaires come with a seamless louvre for a consistent visual expression. If you are unsure which optic is right for your project, our optical guide helps you find the right solution.
System
Modularity that makes the job easier
The system makes it easy to add, remove or replace parts as needs change. From individual luminaires to continuous lines of light and larger system solutions.
System
Build the system around the space
Time can be built in straight lines or with 90° corners. Our configurator makes it easy to create a system tailored to the space.
System
A louvre without interruption
Seamless is our new continuous louvre for system luminaires, developed to create a calm and uninterrupted expression in linear installations.
