Science-based climate targets
Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) is a global initiative that allows for companies to define their climate goals in accordance with what is scientifically deemed necessary for meeting the goals of the Paris Agreement. Climate targets that are validated and approved by SBTi are considered to be in line with the Paris Agreement.
In 2022, we officially joined SBTi and developed science-based climate targets in collaboration with companies within the Fagerhult Group, which were then submitted for approval.
In October 2023 we got our net-zero targets validated and approved. This is a significant milestone in our sustainability journey. The validation reaffirms our unwavering commitment to addressing climate change and ensures that our actions are grounded in science as well as consistent with the goals of the Paris Agreement.
- Our near-term science-based targets:
Reduce direct and indirect GHG emissions (Scope 1 and 2) by 70% until 2030
Reduce other direct and indirect GHG emissions (Scope 3) by 30% until 2030
- Our long-term science-based target:
Become net-zero by 2045
